Fish is Fish – Leo Lionni

Fish is Fish follows the lives of a fish and a tadpole as they grow up.  The frog is able to leave the pond and returns to tell stories to the fish of the world beyond the pond.  The fish is so curious about this strange world, he decides he wants to leave the pond too.  Luckily for the fish the frog sees his distress out of the water and returns him to the pond.  After all fish is fish, frog is frog.
